| Another new Yamaha... I'm about to buy an ATV for use at MX, Hare Scrambles and Enduro venues (with my photography business). I have a 2004 Yamaha Zuma, and we've used it in the past, but it doesn't do well in mud or rough terrain or on hills, and it can't carry much.
I'm looking at a Yamaha Big Bear 400. It's got a push-button selectable 2WD/4WD system, reverse, semi-automatic trans, front and rear racks, and a bunch of other stuff.
I'd consider a Honda, of course, but I already have a Yamaha Factory Financing card that gets me an attractive promotional deal, so I've gotta go blue on this one.
Anyone have any experience with this model? Comments? |

| Re: Another new Yamaha... You should get one of those new Kawasaki 750 v-force 4x4s because they can do a wheelie in reverse. |

| Re: Another new Yamaha... Ahhhh yet another convert. Soon you all will be assimulated into the collective. Recognize and accept the underverse and you too shall reap the benefits of "BLUE".
Okay, now that is out of my system. What was this about. Oh, ATV's.
Only thing I got is a buddy had one of the grizzly's and loved it. |

Yeah, I've owned a few Yammies...but still more Hondas (even if I get this 'blue' ATV).
From what I can find on it, the reviews are good. No real knocks, except from people who don't like that the top speed is "only" 50-55mph. |

| Re: Another new Yamaha... A wheelie on a 4 wheeler is not squidly, it's fun just like on a dirt bike.
On that note, I have owned a Warrior, a blaster, and a Raptor. Stay away from all of the above aside from the Raptor, it was a blast. |
