| Looking for old school yamaha paint scheme I am just posting for a buddy who is thinking of painting his fz400 yamaha blue... I told him on a bike like that he should do a tribute to one of the yamaha factory guys from back in the day, they had some very nice looking bikes. So my question to you guys is...anyone have some nice pics of yamahas GP entries from the mid 90's?
(don't get me wrong, I like yamaha blue, but...he wants to be a bit different ) |

| Re: Looking for old school yamaha paint scheme Stock graphics scheme looks pretty good, just swap the red for black and maybe the white for yellow. |

| Re: Looking for old school yamaha paint scheme My '87 1k paint scheme looked like this except I had the stock black seat.
A roll-back driver dropped it once when the fuel pump quit.
I had the whole bike repainted and the guy said he used pearl-white from Cadillac, metallic blue from Ford, and red from Dodge. It turned out pretty sweet
