| 06 R1 ride... Not very impressed with it. Seating position is horrid. Makes no power under 7k rpm. Brakes are nice. |

There was an LE at a B-Willow trackday that was hustling around the place pretty damn good! |

Have lots of friends that trust me I guess. Working at the shop helps to cause after we work on a bike we ride it a bit to make sure we didn't f it up. |

| Re: 06 R1 ride... In addition I'd like to say I have yet to find a bike that matches Hondas smooth on/off throttle. The bike that is almost there would be the new R6, I said almost. |

| Re: 06 R1 ride... Rode my buddy's '06 R6 a couple of weeks back. It is what most of the magazines are saying it is - very sluggish until you get to about 10K, and then look out! Great sound, very aggressive ergos, impressive suspension, but much more a track tool than a street bike. No way I'd want one for the street. |

| Re: 06 R1 ride... Maybe I'm just so used to Honda that others seem odd to me. IMHO every bike with fuel injection needs a PC even if you don't put an exhaust on it. |
