| Loss of POWER in R6 after the clunking sound Hello all, I am new to this forum!! I own a 04 R6 with 11k miles on it!!! I was riding on around 60mph when, the gear slipped from 5th to 4th with clunking sound!!! I immediately eased the throttle a little and shifted back to 5th gear!!! Immediately realized that my bike is not delivering full power as it used to before this clunking thing happend. Once I was home, verified that all the 4 cylinders are firing up!!! But still have the same issue!!! Do I have problem with the CLUTCH???? PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!! Thanks in advance, -K | |

| Re: Loss of POWER in R6 after the clunking sound you may have broken a clutch disc if it still goes through all of the gears, just not with 100% pull. a clutch kit usually runs around 100-150 depending on who you get them from. installation is not a big deal if you, or you know someone who is mechanically inclined. |
