The 2009 Mercedes-Benz C-Class has lived up to many claims and expectations owing to its redesigned, refined look and sporty feel. While the previous generation was not quite appreciated by the market and critics, this time, it sure seems like the 2009 Mercedes-Benz C-Class has emerged a strong contender in the luxury sedans market. The Mercedes traits are clearly visible in this new C-Class, along with the sporty attributes that challenge many good German sports sedans.
The 2009 models are styled differently, with impressive interiors and elegant exteriors. The bigger multimedia and navigation system might find fans, as might the excellent suspension. The 6 trims in the 2009 launch of the Mercedes Benz C-Class are true roadies with powerful engines built for performance. The sport models have extra in the instrument section. Driving the C-Class is terrific, with unrivalled output yet surprising quiet in the C63 AMG. The C300 and C350 are much quieter, though all C-Class models work well for long trips. Massive torque and horsepower delivered in most road conditions make this model something to really watch out for. C63 AMG, C350, C300 Luxury, and C300 Sport trims are available for 2009.
This range of entry-level luxury and performance cars comes packed with a neat set of hi-tech goodies. The COMAND control interface, 8-way power front seats, Bluetooth connectivity, dual-zone automatic climate control system, tilt-telescoping steering and plenty more entice the customer into checking out all 4 trims before finally choosing one among the promising trims. For those who want even more out of the Mercedes Benz C-Class 2009 models, the Premium I Package is a good option. With auto dim mirrors, rain-sensing windshield wipers, driver-side memory with power steering, and an excellent satellite radio are included in the Premium I. then we have the Premium II Package, which comes with power rear window sun shade, bi-Xenon headlamps, LED tail lamps and corner-illuminating fog lights. The Multimedia Package and Seating Package, and other stand-alone options are offered for these sporty luxury sedans.
The excellent interiors with home-theatre effect and plush seating, match up to the exteriors. Safety features like seat-mounted front pelvic airbags are top notch, with the 2009 C-Class raking in 4 stars on 5 (passenger and driver frontal impact) and 5 for side impact, in government tests.
The 2009 Mercedes-Benz C-Class models have distinct sport and luxury trims, offer smooth ride and simple handling, invite with amazing multimedia, and beckon with the damn good C63 AMG. But while the design and performance get the green signal, the pricing and Spartan interiors are slightly disappointing.
