Best slip-on?

Yesterday i had another asshole pull out in front of me on the hwy, both lanes wide open and he drifts right over in mine, so as soon as i got home i pulled off the muffler, road around for a while and it doesnt sound that bad it just annoys me at a steady rpm, what im gettin at here is what would be the best/loudest slip-on out there for an 04 cbr1000, any help or opinions will be appreciated

Re: Best slip-on?

You need to weigh up what it is you are after mate, loudest and best don't necessarily go together.

Do you just want more noise ?

There are so many to pick from....Akrapovic, Arrow, Micron etc etc etc

Sometimes I wish I was a faster rider, but there's no heroes in the graveyard..............

Re: Best slip-on?

Take just about any aftermarket can and cut it down until you can barelly stand it.

well more power always being part of the quest, would be my main concern but noise is also needed lol

Do this or get a $25 reflective sport vest in orange or lime green so they can actually see you...Cycle gear has them cheap and mine isn't too "loud" for commuting at least...

Re: Best slip-on?

Slip ons do not make noticeable power, mostly just for noise...like stated there are many to choose from.
