Back home again!

Just got her home with a clean bill of health. Valve clearances checked...and a few other small things.
Time for new bodywork, once the snow flies.

Re: Back home again!

Same color scheme, minus the right-side garage-drop rash and left side rear helmet-bounce rash on the current plastics. Both supplied by previous owners.

ABS fairings supplied the replacements.

This bike's a keeper for me. Doing my best to make her last.

Re: Back home again!

yeah i was thinking of doing a repsol theme on my 954 but im having second thoughts. ive got a little rash, supplied by me, on my upper n tail. so you already got the fairing kit? happy with the quality? mine are scuffed but even to repair the little amount of scratching n have it painted would likely run more than buying a kit so im kinda in the market myself.

Re: Back home again!

The finish on the kit looks fantastic. The only missing details were the "honda" decal on the center of the nose on the upper and the big honda decal on the lower edge of the right lower. I found a guy that makes those....just applied them today.

The only thing I can't comment on yet is fitment. ABS has really good feedback in that regard. When I get to pulling her apart, I'll be sure to post.

That's this winter's project. I want to keep everything as is until the snow flies here.

Side note - My eldest does the "Sons of Santa" toy ride every year. (a Harley thing) Just for shits 'n giggles, I got a couple of "Elf" oil stickers. Might duct tape a santa hat to the helmet too.
