This is a Poll. Be sure to vote.

I was thinking of combining categories to make things easier to navigate. So, there would be one category for FireBlades, one for RC51, one for Blackbird, etc, etc, etc.

Vote and post your comments.

Would it reduce bandwidth/database size?

Yes, some. But that doesn't really matter.

Re: Forum Categories

I like it the way it is. That said, You don't need to be doing any more work on this on your own time and own dime just to make the few that have whined happy.
Do what YOU want to do. This is YOUR site, it is provided to us free of charge, yet costs you plenty. It is by far the best motorcycle forum currently on the web, and you have no need to put more effort just because a few people can't hack navigating a well thought out and organized website.
While merging databases and adjusting the code isn't a whole lot of work, it takes a bit of time.
Time that could be spent riding or playing 'hide the salami'.

Re: Forum Categories

Actually, combining them would make for less work/maintenance in the long run.

Seriously, do what's gonna be best for you.
Screw what everyone else wants. Especially that no-good Pete.
I like the separations, but that doesn't really mean much in the grand scheme.

Well, I think I'm going to do it. Primary reason: to screw with Bacchus, since he loves change.
