when i joined the site a 58 euro was snug. the new 50 is a tight fit around the chest with the liner in, but fits like a glove.
i guess a lot of you dont know ive lost around 105lbs overall. 90% just through diet. counting calories the first year. i started keto last april. took a couple breaks, gained a little back before buckling down.
beginning of last month i ran the first mile in my life at age 39. at a 10 minute pace.
something i never thought i would do.
i ran 27 days last month, even in the rain, and finished the month doing a 10k run. my average mile pace is under 8 minutes now.
ive had to slow her down a little this week. im having some pain in the si joint of my hip. a joint i didnt even know was there. i think im just doing too much too fast. the last week i went from running 3 miles a day to 6. i decided to go easy a week or two only running 3 miles every other day to let my hip calm down a bit and avoid an injury.
a month and a half in and i can see some results. i havent lost any weight, which is good because i dont want to at this point, but i suppose im swapping some body fat percentage for lean muscle.
my only goal when i decided to start this journey was a flat stomach. im sooo close, but still have a little pooch hangin on for dear life.
i think im gonna hit that goal by end of summer though.
when i started, i could barely run 1/4 mile without being spent. im hoping to run half marathon distance by summers end, maybe even more.
im actually enjoying the challenge!!!
