Hi all.. I recently purchased a ‘94 Fireblade. She’s in very good nick as far as my knowledge can tell. I was hoping the collective knowledge here can tell me of common issues to look out for and pre-empt ? Thanks all

Re: 1994 Fireblade Common issues

Welcome to the forum @ShotFire

They’re tough old birds, main thing IMO to look for is just neglect, head bearings, brakes, rear shock linkages, leaking fork seals and DIY alterations to the wiring harness, crap modifications and stuff like that. However the engines are pretty bullet proof if the oil is changed frequently.

The biggest and most expensive problem is cracked and damaged bodywork, panels and decals are now almost impossible to source and repairs are very expensive.
