954 fireblade speedo not working

Hi,

So last week i had to change the rectifier on my bike and last saturday i got into a little accident, the bike is perfectly fine, just a few scratches nothing seems wrong with the engine, however these passed 2 days when i start the engine i realized the speedo keeps resetting from how i customized it, factory setting is in MP/h and F so i leave it on KM/h and C... so how come every time i turn the bike off and back on they go back to MP/h and F?

Re: 954 fireblade speedo not working

Are your battery connections secure? How old is the battery btw ?

It *might* be a battery on its way out - strange electronic gremlins tend to reveal themselves with a bad battery ie - such as when the trip odometer or clock on the speedo/cluster resets after each "key on/key off" cycle.
