What im needing help with is. I have a 2003 honda shadow spirit 750, and im wanting to change rims from spoked to aluminum, and i seen a set of honda cbr rims i liked, and was wanting to know if the cbr rims will fit the shadow. I cant find specs on either rim to compare. So if anyone knows where i can get the specs at, or have done the swap, or even know when i can get a 16 inch rim and a 19 inch rim at for my shadow for a low price, that would be awesome. And thanks for any and all help
Not sure if you're serious or not, because your Spirit has a rear drum brake whereas the CBRs have discs. On that basis, they would not be compatible. Further, your rear is a 15" rim. Installing an 18" is likely to not offer any clearance from swing arm and fender etc.
So far as the front, you will not get a 19" CBR wheel and if you could possibly adapt an 17" your steering geometry would suffer. FireBlade owners have swapped 16" for 17", but the head stem angle and rake is not so great as your VT.
All in all, there is no simple and straight forward solution to this.
