Todays news! https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.mot...0rr-fireblade/

what do you guys think? from what I can tell, Looks like it will sport a center intake like the rc51, 600rr. And active aerodynamics, whatever that is. 😉 Frame and swingarm kind of looks the same as the previous bike. vents in the gas tank, even shorter tail section, endurance looking fender. hmm

Yep, saw that yesterday. Very difficult to ascertain any style guidelines when it's so heavily camouflaged.

'Active aerodynamics' is sensor operated front wings that will pop out at a predetermined speed. Centre intake has been talked about for a while, but because that bike has a race fairing rather than street, headlight configuration etc could see the traditional side intakes restored.

Whilst many of us are hoping for a bike that offers more than just an extra few white stripes (a la 2019) any major improvement will be a step in the right direction. Honda's reputation as a sports bike leader (in my opinion) depends on it.

In the UK we have a major motorcycle show in November (https://www.motorcyclelive.co.uk/ ) and I am hoping the bike will be there. It is merely weeks after EICMA so there's some logic in my thoughts. I am keen on getting one (now selling my RR4: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174049747148 ) if it is a brand new fresh bike, otherwise I will be defecting to Yamaha's R1M.

Way past Santa time.

Is forecast for March, but nothing definitive as yet. Deposit is paid, but still can't get official 'options' list from dealer, i.e. tail tidy etc. No concerns though, but an anxious five months awaits.

For the first time in about 10 years I’m going to give Motorcycle Live a miss this year, last year was completely underwhelming, I think I need to miss a year to enjoy it more in 2020.

However The Cycle Show this year was really good, took my 14 year old son and we had a really good day out.

Ok, I'll post up a report with pics. I know our international friends will be jealous of Britain's great events!"
