Re: 954 Bar End Mirrors

When I bought my bike, it had a strap on bar-end mirror. Talk about junk. It was horrible. I had a set of bar end mirrors that kept off my VFR. So I put them on and they are much better. Just remember, You get what you pay for.

Re: 954 Bar End Mirrors

I've always like the mirror behind the bar so you can see who's coming in the front door...

Re: 954 Bar End Mirrors

besides, bar end mirrors can really screw up my lane splitting, and everyone knows it is safer to split lanes than it is to stay in line with the blind cage drivers so, for the time being no bar ends, thanks....

Re: 954 Bar End Mirrors

I have good quality bar end mirrors on my 2201 F4i which are great as the stock are way to close in.
I have them on my Buell x1 because the stock ones vibrate too much.
The best are "hindsight" at about $80 EACH. There are some on E-bay for $34.95 a pair that to me seem identical.
You have to be careful because they are slightly convex.

Really?!?! Lane splitting is definitely not safer IMO at least here in SoCal where people change lanes without really looking. I do it when the traffic is at an absolute stand still but with far greater trepidation than I when I'm in the lane.
