Fuel Tank Flush Findings

I have a 96' CBR 600 F3 that hadn't been running in over a year. I decided to flush the fuel tank, clean carbs, ecetera.

I found the following goodies when I flushed the tank (can anyone identify the silicone cone?...does it serve a purpose?...I have no issues with the bike running, accelerating, etcetera).

It's on a 3x5 notecard for sizing reference.

Think all you have there are foreign bodies that the previous owner may have dropped in, the only rubber grommet that should be in there is a small black ring that sits inside the filter and grips the tube coming up from the petcock

I agree with Spagi, just 2 random pieces of nothingness that must have accidentally dropped in over the years.
