Rear seat locking mechanism?

Hi everybody,

2001 CBR 600f4i
My rear seat lock was sticking, I gave it a little pressure and all of it just popped apart. This happened several months ago when I was working on another issue on the bike, so wasn't concerned with it at the time. After getting the other issue resolved I'd like to get the bike buttoned up and take it out again but I have no idea how the lock goes back together. Can anybody get a picture of their mechanism or point to a diagram?

Including a picture of the rear seat lock bracket and the parts I had leftover on my workbench when I was finished with everything else. I know for a fact that a few of the screws don't belong as part of the lock but left them in the pic just in case.

Re: Rear seat locking mechanism?

Hi this should help you along, you can see the mark pattern on the cross bar where the plate sits , its just a matter of putting the parts together ( watch out for that spring and match them up, its easier to put the cable in the spring end first

Re: Rear seat locking mechanism?

Thx for finding that diagram. That and the tips made it super easy to get it all back together again.
