Replacement cables

I just bought a new throttle body and I cannot get the new throttle cables on correctly I took out all the slack in the throttle cable and I still no luck.

So you can get them on, but not correctly? What does that really mean? I would guess that either the new cables or new throttle body are not correct for your application.

What year make model bike do you have, do the cables and throttle body match what you replaced, and got any pictures?

I have a 2005 Honda cbr600rr the one that was on the cbr600rr was the California type the one I bought by accident is the except California type

That shouldn't make a difference as the AC (California type) should only have additional hoses. BUT, it is possible that the ratio of the throttle body eccentric that the cables mount to could be different the 49 state (A) model.

Are the cables the same part number on Partzilla between AC and A models?

I can't read any of the cables the numbers are worn off so what I can read our mee 000 4 L 17

You said here the cables are new, where did you get them?

Bad choice of words it's a used throttle body not a new one the used throttle body came with throttle cables already attached

Ahhhhh, ok gotcha. So the cables that are on the throttle body may be wrong. Any way to use the old cables?

No I was going to do that but I checked one of the cables and there coming apart I would have to buy new ones

How would I route the new cables on a 2005 Honda CBR600RR? My biggest issue is running the cables through the killswitch housing and hooking the cables to the through throttle tubing.
