Re: Throttle grip wont roll back on its own

sound like the return throttle cable has snapped(worn away over time etc.)
Take the throttle housing apart and see if you can move the cable,it will either pull out and retract back or it will come out all together,if it comes out, theres your problem, has the bike been dropped in the dirt before? check that theres no crap on the throttle tube this can make it stick.
Happened a couple times with my dirt bikes.
Hope this helps

Sounds like the throttle cable is binding. Have you pulled the tank off and disconnected the cables for any reason? If that's not it try squirting some cable lube into it and work the lube throughout the whole cable.

Or, it could be really simple, hopefully. Did you install new grips recently? Sometimes mine move and rub against the throttle cable housing, causing the throttle to "stick".

This happened to a buddy after his latest track day. Check the easy solutions first!
Good luck!

Re: Throttle grip wont roll back on its own

Sometimes glue gets in between the throttle tube and the bar if you weren't careful installing new grips.
