92 cbr 600 boggin out???

I have a 1992 cbr 600 and every time i ride for over 20 mins it boggs out and shuts off. If i let the bike sit for a couple hours and cool down it will start back up again but do the same thing if i ride again. if anyone knows how to fix this problem please let me know!

Re: 92 cbr 600 boggin out???

I assume the engine dies but the electrical is all still working???

Next time it dies, open the gas tank and let it vent for a second. If it starts right back up without waiting, your vent lines under the tank are clogged or blocked. Its a very common problem to pinch those lines when putting the tank back on - service shops do it accidently all the time.
