Oil Leak - Advice Please

Got an annoying oil leak that looks to be coming from the front left hand side of the cylinder head. Works it's way down and them out on to the back wheel. Makes me really nervous in the rain. Is this a common fault and will I need to to remove the cyclinder head?
Bike is a 2000 CBR 600F, UK model.
Thanks fro any advice

Re: Oil Leak - Advice Please

I owned a cbr600 fs1 sport, and on that model is a cam sensor on the front side of the cylinder block, i dont know if yours is the same but it could be just a quick simple fix of replacing the o-ring. If you have a manual it should tell you in there. It shows the sensor in the haynes manual on page 4.22 if you have one and if that is where the oil leak is cming from. Hope this helps
