Tire Size for 94 F2?

Hey everyone, I got my first bike about a month and a half ago. Its a 94 f2 and i really do love it. Its going to need a new rear tire any day now and i believe the the recommended size is 160/70/17... What do you guys/girls ride and why as I am wondering what size i should buy. I am a new rider so I am not trying to go to the track or do anything crazy btw.. Thanks!

That is the size tire that comes stock on the bike, I would probably use the same size.

I believe that stock size is 160/60/17.
Front 120/60/17 but you can use 120/70/17 as well.

Yes exactly, funny how I know that because a couple weeks ago my friend who rides a f2 and needed a front tire, which was the stock size 120/60 and I gave him one of my race take offs that was a 120/70, and it was no problem.

Michellin Pilot Power Dual Compound - is as good as it gets especially for mixed weather conditions. Used this on the road and for track day for years.
Quick warm up time and deadly in the wet comparing to other road tyres.
