Keep hitting Neutral

hello
iv tried a search couldnt find a whole lot on this issue ..

but I have a 99 CBR600 F4 .. i constantly seem to hit Neutral on my 1-2 shift, today alone i did it 6 times .. any ideas what could be wrong ?

I have Vortch rear sets and use Motul oil ..

I have also let others ride my bike just to be sure its just not me ..

it could be the gears in the transmission already worn out but also might be missing 5 some times but could be 2nd gear in tranny

Have you tried adjusting the shift lever down a little?
If it is a mechanical problem then you probably have a bent fork.

Im going to try adjusting the lever down a bit maybe im just not pulling ad high as i think i am .. every other gear feels good an when it does go in to 2nd it feels fine ..
