1990 CBR 600F

Ok here it goes... i bought this bike off a guy that claims to have used it for track yadda yadda well he spliced and cut many things in the harness so i purchased a new one.. just got finished putting it on and checked to make sure is was getting spark and all is well, i put the tank back on and tried to fire it up and nothing.. so i know its getting spark, and its getting gas but it wont fire up.. any ideas??

Have you tried spraying carb cleaner or starter fluid into the airbox while cranking the engine to confirm it is firing?
If it fires then you have a carb problem.
If it still won't fire you need to confirm you have spark.
If you do, then you need to start looking at valve and ignition timing.
