First ride.

Well, I got my F2 back together enough to ride it Sat.. Not legally, no lights, license or insurance. I put my gear on and rode it up and down the 3 mile road in front of my house quite a few times. It has a hesitation below 4 grand but when it gets wound up HOLD ON! I'm sooooo totally motivated to finish this bike! I'm afraid that poor Harley is gonna spend more time in the garage than it ever has this Summer. Guys, I'm really sick here! I'm gonna prolly need an intervention! I got soooo high when that Muzzy was at full song! Can't wait to get it finished so I can tear up some canyon roads this Summer!

Hi, my name is Wayne and I'm a motorcycle enthusiast.

Re: First ride.

That's good news Wrangler!
Just try to remember how loud that Muzzy is. At night time, it reeeeally carries, making it impossible to be incognito anywhere above 5000rpm.

Re: First ride.

I had a Kerker pipe on my old GSXR750, my girlfriend back then had to sneak back home by walking 5 blocks to her house so her Dad wouldn't hear us coming in the WEE hours----good times

Re: First ride.

My very first bike had a complete Kerker system. 1980 Kawasaki LTD 550. I loved that bike. You couldn't keep me off it. We'd go somewhere and my wife would drive the car and I'd ride my bike. Lol!

Re: First ride.

Yeah, that's enthusiasm eh?

I ordered an F3 seat off Fleabay last night($79), so now I can finish the tail. I'm trying to find a stock '97 or later F3 taillight and if I can't I guess I'll have to buy one of those Chinese integrated ones. I don't want the rear turn signals integrated. I like the little bitty LED ones on the tail. Personal preference.

I want everything done and save the headlight mounting for last as it will be the hardest part of my build.

And in the news: I found out last night that my wife put $200 in my "bike fund". WOOT!

My wife never puts money in my Fund. $7000 bonus this year and only got $3500 of it. Sucks a**. Yes, I'm whining a bit.

I've already been informed that I don't get any of our measly tax return! Bonus? I don't think I'm getting one this year. If I do IT'S MINE!!!

Re: First ride.

Here, check this out.
http://youtu.be/fASjvbZnUIk

This is before I rode it. If you pay close attention you'll notice there's no chain on it yet.

I just uploaded this video and when I watched it the audio was out of sync. with the video. I hope that it is temporary.

There, I fixed it.
