cbr running rough

hi guys new to the site.i have a cbr 400 nc29 and my problem is it jus aint running right.it starts fine no problem every time but seems to be running on 2 cylinders.i got new plugs and still the same so i cleaned the carbs new air filter and fuel filter went in aswel and still the same.any advice?

Are you getting spark from all 4 plugs? The wires and boots might need cleaning up.

To determine if a cylinder isn't running just spit on the header pipes as the engine warms up. It will steam off the pipes as they get hot. If one stays wet then it's not firing at all or not running as hot as the others.

Also check the plug order again. It's very easy to mix them up.

yeah im getting a spark from the 4 plugs and ive tried that with header pipes.two are hot and the other are jus warm.the plug order is ok aswel,tanx for the replies by the way

Are both cold headers on the same coil?
If they are, then swap the coils over and see if they're still not firing.
If the problem switches to the other two pipes then the coil is not working.

Sounds like the coil then.
Be sure not to mess up the firing order.
