Ah, I'm keen on following this. So inspiring are these restoration threads.

Sadly, I can not attempt such 'room necessary' projects, unless someone with a nice big double garage would care to adopt me.

Without wishing to derail this restoration thread, it is relevant that I'm just about to step outside and set up my 'pop up technical station.' Pics later!

In summer, yes. But today there's was rain forecast so I just had the quick version. OEM seat cowl on and clear Puig tank pad.

I have a proper can hangar en-route so I can remove the hideous pillion peg!

Bloody hell.

There's no satisfying anyone on here. Can only be an 'early' Blade, no fuel injection, and now we have colour fanatics.

I'm gunna buy me one of those CBX 750 things, and then I'll be right.

Think I'll turn it into a street fighter - woops, cafe racer - paint it red and then I'll get some 'likes'.

It's a mean look!

Agree with you though, and far from original. You're probably aware they're held on only by a few dabs of velcro. I'll have it off for MoT, but in the meantime it can catch the summer insects!

What are your plans for the body work Bill, are you replacing the original decals?
