Re: DRY KIT ON 2001 929

Dry Nitrous = injects Nitrous Oxide into the intakes, and relies on the injectors to add the extra fuel required
Wet Nitrous = injects nitrous oxide and fuel into the manifold.

Nitrous oxide engine - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

If the bike isn't braking properly, you don't start by rebuilding the engine.

Re: DRY KIT ON 2001 929

not really sure what this means "AFTER I CRANK THE BIKE AND FLIP MY TOGGLE SWITCH THE HEADLIGHT WILL GO OUT WHEN I PUSH THE START BUTTON. " Also, not sure what you connected to the start button? basically, you aren't getting responses because it is near impossible to tell what you are asking.

Re: DRY KIT ON 2001 929

ok packman...i have connected my toggle switch to the horn button like i have done on many many hayabusa's. It's a yellow wire with a red stripe. When toggle is in one position the bike starts and when it's switched after the bike has started it sends a signal to your nitrous solenoid and the solenoid with be activated..But the problem is this. When i try to crank the bike the headlight will dim down until the bike starts and when it cranks the light is back on like it should...Here is the kicker...Bike is running and i flip my toggle switch on but when i push the button the light still goes off..
Does anyone on this site have a wire diagram for a 2001 honda cbr 929 or better yet has anyone put one on before and is willing to help...I KNOW IT HAS BEEN DONE.

Re: DRY KIT ON 2001 929

i think i see what you mean. you're using the starter button to trigger the nitrous, but when you do that it turns the headlight off. is that correct?

sorry i don't have a diagram.

Re: DRY KIT ON 2001 929

just curious, have you thought about running a seperate button to spray your nitrous? Sounds like the start switch idea isnt working out, just yet, and I do not have the wiring insight to help you out?
Have you check with schnitz racing, pingel or mps to see what they have to offer?

Would the 2000 and 2001 929 be the same wiring?

So are you connected to the horn button as you say in this post or to the starter button as you say in your first post?
