Re: irridium plugs ?

The stock plug (Denso IUH27D) for your 929 is an iridium spark plug. I would use it or NGK CR9EHIX-9. NGK also makes laser iridium's for even longer life which came stock in the 954. Check with your local auto parts store because most can get these spark plugs much cheaper than buying them from motorcycle stores.

If shipping charges are not extremely high you can buy a BMC race air filter from Yoshimura-rd.com for $28US otherwise I would stick with an OEM Honda filter for best performance.

Re: irridium plugs ?

Stay clear of K&N filters mate - as backdoc says, stick with the stock filter or go for a race filter.

Keep it simple, get the basics right and you 'll be surprised. If it ain't broke, don't try and fix it

Do, or do not, there is no try !

Unless it's the airbox flapper or exhaust valve....

for NGK though - I don't use anything else if I can help it.

If the bike isn't braking properly, you don't start by rebuilding the engine.
