Swing arm conversion question

I have an 01 929, I just recently found a 954 swingarm. Can I just swap it with the 929 swingarm? Has anyone done this?

Lots of people have done this.
As far as I'm aware it bolts straight in.
Not sure if you want to use the 954 shock linkages but you'll soon know when you get it together.

Re: Swing arm conversion question

The 954s swingarm is different and more rigid but not entirely sure whether it would fit

Re: Swing arm conversion question

The spools (8mm) fit the 893, 919, 929 and also the 954

It's also a couple hundred grams lighter.

The 929 does not have spool mounts.
