top yolk out of line

Hi everyone I had a slow speed off on my 99 blade which resulted in a cracked top fairing and a bent clock bracket I have straightened out the clock bracket and I found the top yolk was out if line so I released all the bolts and pulled it straight.Everything seems fine now she rides straight and true I even checked wheel alignment which was spot on the only problem I notice is the bar end on
left lock is closer to the frame when on right lock it may have been like this before but I'm wondering if honda did this for more hand room throttle side all the yolk stops are ok and the bars are not bent it was only a 10mph off.i have no one with a blade to compare notes with,if anyone has a RRW RRX blade could they have a quick look for comparison cheers guys and girls

There is a few millimetres of 'give' in the bar clamps. Try releasing both the side clamp bolt and the 'security' locating bolt under the top yoke and move the bar forward. I generally left the locating bolt out to get a bit more adjustability. Check that your tank hasn't shifted a bit too, you can get a bit more clearance by loosening its mounting bolts and moving it around a little.
