Hi.

I checked heads in the ebay and found two head where was same looking exhaust holes (look the last pictures):

Re: Cbr 954 and exhaust holes ?

Are you asking about the receeding circle for the exhaust seal gasket or about the deposit colors?

I see this is post #1! Welcome to the forum!

About 45 000km. I checked valve clearance and exhast was good but intake wasn`t.
IN:
1#17,20
2#14,18
3#14,18
4#16,18
I will adjust those valves.

And that different color in the exhaust hole was my question.
I have never seen that kind of "phenomenon" in any bike.
So I´m a litte worried that is the engine totally ok.

Any solution what cause that dark and clean are?
Normally exhaust hole black color is all over the hole?

I would think soo.. the bike ran fine though? It doesn't look like much as far as deposits go for that kind of mileage.

Bike ran pretty good but one issue is idle.
It`s not so smooth at low rpm but in the middle and top rpm bike work great.
But I have been reading this forum and mine conclusion is that it`s normally in 954 ?

I did buy power commander so I assume that low rpm problem will solve when I install commander.
And also I will try to do Starter Valve Synchronisation.

Honestly I think you're running lean... or you are running with to hot of spark plugs... see this chart, I'm sure your spark plugs look the same as the white chalky one:

I thought that too, but the other side of the same port is nicely coated in black. Deffinitely check the plugs for a more direct answer.
