Re: front fork help cbr 900 rr cbr

I changed fork oil on my 900rr in 2009. Although I have the owners manual it doesn't say what type and/or weight fork oil to use. However, I went to honda shop and bought 2- 20oz bottles of Honda brand suspension fluid [(Pro Honda Suspension Fluid SS-8 10w)] is what it said on the bottle. And that is what I used.

The oil weight doesn't change because you ride two-up.
The specs are listed just where you'd expect them to be - in the manual.
8W is standard I think but 10W is fine.
Air gap is 110-118mm.
Stock setting:
Preload 12mm out.
Rebound and compression one turn out.
