2005 CBR 1000 RR wont start
Long time stalker first actual post. As mentioned in the title it wont start when pushing the start button, bought the bike a few months ago, and have just had minor problems with it, now when I push the start button nothing happens. Let me back up a little bit. About 1 month ago I would push the start button and nothing would happen, pull in the clutch and push the start button the bike would fire right up, This wasn't an every time I was starting it but on the occasion I would have to pull the clutch in.
Now I turn on the key, the gauge goes threw its normal check, the fuel pump comes on, all lights work but the bike wont start. I have pushed started it and runs just fine, but when I shut it off I have to push start it again. I have previously replaced the stator, rectifier and battery due to corrosion in the plug coming from rectifier to the battery. Have already tried to start it with kickstand up and down, leaning on the kickstand and with me straddling it (straight up). I am thinking it might be the push button itself, just not quite sure how to test it if anybody could shed some light or other things for me to try would be greatly appreciated.
I did search the forum before posting and found a few things I will also check, however I only have a test light not a volt tester as a few have suggested it might be the main 30A fuse. Thanks!!!
