Ohlins suspension question?

I have a front seal leaking and was wondering if it is worth replacing the insides with ohlins springs and such or just going with whatever. I ride pretty aggressive and am now in europe so the roads are not what we are used to in the states. I was also wondering about the rear shock. Ive read more than a few comments on the rear shock from ohlins and it seems that it does wonders to the bike(I have a 954) as far as ride and performance. Is it worth the 1500 dollar or so investment for my enjoyment and what sort of value does it do for the bike as far as resale. Not looking to get rid of it but want to enjoy it more. Any help would be great.

Re: Ohlins suspension question?

Suspension, brakes, and tyres are the most important bits on a bike. Ohlins is worth it

As for resale, you can always offer the bike with stock bits, or the ohlins for a premium. It's pretty easy to sell on the individual bits after if necessary.

If the bike isn't braking properly, you don't start by rebuilding the engine.

Re: Ohlins suspension question?

I would select an Elka Stage 4 shock instead. Much less expensive, and no less quality or capability. And I would get their shock kit, too. Or Race-Tech springs and cartridge emulators. Value for money!
