CBR900RRV "clean Up"

Ok gents, thought I'd start to introduce my Fireblade. I found a 1996 RRV with 1900 miles on the clock. The last owner put it in the garage in 2001 and shut the door, complete withhold fuel etc !!!

I decided to strip it down replace all fluids and upgrade the suspension. K Tech don't make complete fork internal kits for the 96-97, however I met a fantastic helpful Suspension guy who CAD designed some, took them to K Tech who liked the idea and built some for my bike.

So it now has full K Tech Fork internals, Springs and a gorgeous Nitron Race shock with High/Low speed Compression damping and remote preload adjuster.

I've fitted a complete 2001 VTR1000SP1 (RC51) front barkes, calipers and lever for better stopping.

Carbs were stripped, ultrasonic cleaned and now mint.

Exhaust was given a fresh coat of Plasticoat BBQ paint, a well known excellent paint used by all the 2 Stroke guys as it gives a lovely Satin black finish.

I've decided to stick with the way Mr Honda designed it (16" front wheel) and fitted a new set of Bridgestones S20's

A few photos attached, hope you like her

The first 2 pics are as I collected her, amazing Honda quality though, all she needed was a really good clean up.

Forgot to mention, she has a sweet registration number of N1 HRC !!!!
