Honda cbr 900 rr v 1997 idle issue

Hi just brought 900rr v 1997

I assume been stored for year or more fires but wont idle at all

I stiped carbs cleaned . also need small o rings that go on the pilot jets.

wheres good place get carb kit from i found one mentioned 900rr 98 sc 33

is that okay for mine.

I puting back toghter had low side crash the guy brought of his freind.

So put most body work back on got front fairing plasic welded

Also hose from top cv carbs to air box filter was missing.

And little plasic box has no filter in it , do replace the whole plastic box

and ideas where can source one aftermarket ?

Re: Honda cbr 900 rr v 1997 idle issue

The sub air filter can be sourced separately but I just cut up a piece of dish washing sponge for it, better than nothing.

Pretty sure the carbs only changed in terms of the jets used? You can compare part numbers on an online fiche.

If those o rings are ripped or not sealing you could get too much air bein bled in which would stop it idling well. Replace and see where you're at.
