Price question 2001 929

How much is a good price for a 2001 929rr, with 3300 miles, its in very good condition, no damage, the guy who is selling it put a fender eliminatior kit on it with a hugger and a aftermarket pipe. Also it doesn't look like its evey been riden hard.

Anywhere from $6000-$6500 i'd say....but what do I know? I payed $7000 for mine just last year and that was cheap considering others I saw priced around here.

But what are the chances in actually getting that low? I'd say go as high as $6500 if you are interested enough in the bike, but always start below what you are willing to pay. Negotiate!! Thats the key phrase!

ALOT depends on how motivated the seller is. how emotionally attached to the machine is he? what other issues does he currently have in his life? (debt, kid on the way, new machine waiting at the dealer). and how good a negotiator are YOU?

Unless the East Coast market is either much more active in terms of sales, or much smaller in terms of availability (per shopper), the bike's not worth more than $6000 at the upper end. If he doesn't want to sell it for that, walk away and find somethine else.
