anyone ever come across this problem ?

1997 fireblade all clocks seem to work fine untill you go for a blast a realise your flat out in 4th but speedo still says your only doing 65 mph lol
and obviously it also said i did 70 miles on a full day thrash on 2 tanks of fuel lol.
anyone help ??

I would guess that either your speedo or the speed sensor have failed.

Ok well I wanted to upgrade to digi speedos so what fit apart from the f4i does any digi speedo work once wiring is sorted ?

I'm running an aftermarket digital instrument cluster that simply uses a magnet on a wheel for speed sensing.
