|Honda FireBlade Discussion of the Honda CBR 900RR, Honda CBR 929RR, Honda CBR 954RR, and Honda CBR 1000RR Motorcycles.|
I don't know how mechanically inclined you are but here's what your going to have to do. From what I can see from your pictures, it looks likes it dripping right at the clutch handle. This is usually a fault with your master cylinder piston seal leaking.
The part number for that is PISTON SET 22886-MAT-E01 its 34.86 us from honda direct line (american company)
You may also want to order the orings 21-22 and the crush washers #20. If you take the cylinder off the bike you will definetly need new crush washers. You are going to need inside ring pliers to remove part 21.
If you order form them it usually takes a week or so to get here. You can check with your local dealers to see how much it is in Canada.
In the meantime you will have to bleed the clutch to get the air out of the system. Suck out that crappy old fluid and put some fresh fluid in and bleed it. If you don't have a mityvac now would be a good time to invest in one.
link to a 2004 service manual same procedure for the master cylinder
Don't put your fairing back on until you fix the leak. You would likely get a much more detailed answer on a motorcycle forum specific to your bike. I don't have a cbr but a gl1500c, so the specific information I would use doesn't apply.
Hope this helps you.
