What do you mean by "speed"?
If you mean top speed, give up now, sell the 929 and buy a more modern bike.
If you want faster acceleration there are a few things you can do, but you'd still be better off buying a more modern bike.
A PC does not make the bike faster, not unless your fueling is already messed up for some reason.

Re: Honda 929 01 what should I buy to make it faster

I know what you mean! I bet you're thinking faster speeds thru turns, smoother throttle for better thrittle control, especially in the turns, more lean and better grip. Am I close?

Start with a PCIII for smoother throttle control.
Research the best tires for your style of riding. I'm thinking full-on sport tires like pilot powers or Q2/Q3's, etc. And maintain proper psi for best grip.
And if you want the ultimate in control and suspension, get rid of the stock suspension and replace it with an Ohlins, Penske, RaceTech, or TractionDynamics- rear shock, and Ohlins or RaceTech 20mm valving and proper springs for you fork legs.

Have you set your rider sag and compression/rebound? That alone makes a huge difference.

if you have a pipe and a PC3, most the time you will get at least 5hp more then stock!

Smaller front sprocket, bigger rear sprocket, PCIII will smooth out the power range, good tires, tune your suspension, 1/4 turn throttle will up the fun as well...

If you're going top speed, bigger front sprocket, smaller rear lol..... I'm thinking of doing this just to try to get my bike over 200mph

All these things are great for making your existing bike more controllable and smoother, these mods also help to decrease the drama involved with a bike that may be fighting you through turns...but if you just want to go really fast in a a straight line then a newer modern litre bike is really the only way to do it as the most cost effective way possible.

^ Agreed. You can only do so much with technology from a decade ago....

OP has not defined what he means by faster.

Faster accelerating?
Faster top speed?
Faster through the corners?
Faster braking?
Faster looking parked outside Starbucks?

If the bike isn't braking properly, you don't start by rebuilding the engine.

The 29's are beasts....the CBR1000RR's are faster and smoother. Just ride it out, sell it, get a 1k.

This has been very informative for me and I didn't mean too speed just wanted to get more of a kick or power burst type of reaction

-1+2 sprockets. You should be able to keep the stock chain length. That's the best bang for the buck for straight out quicker acceleration.
