97 Fireblade Hugger

Hi, I've bought a hugger off ebay for the above, its easy to bolt on the chain side but has no bracket for the exhaust side. Does anyone have a decent picture of one fitted on the exhaust side so I can see what sort of bracket to make?? Many thanks guys

Re: 97 Fireblade Hugger

I've got a hugger on my RRV. It just tie wraps at the caliper end and bolts through the bracket for the rear brake hose at the other end. I'll try and get some photos tomorrow if I get chance.

Don't know whether this helps but you can see the bolt where it attaches to the bracket just to the right of the foot rest in this photo (which is behind the hugger) for the rear brake hose. There is a hole drilled through the hugger towards the caliper direction which allows you to tie wrap onto the swing arm brace. Think mine is a 'red fox' brand.

Re: 97 Fireblade Hugger

Thanks for the picture, yours is different in as it sits on top of the swing arm where as mine sits behind. I'm an engineer so making a bracket should be easy enough once I can see how the original looks, all the pictures on the we are of the chain side!
I know I could use double sided tape or tie wraps but really don't want to.
Any pics would be great.
