30mm intake valve swap

I'm in the middle of an engine rebuild on my 2001 929. From the looks of my cylinder walls it needs to be bored and re-plated so I've decided to go with 76mm 13.5:1 pistons. I would like to do some work to the head to take full advantage of the extra displacement.

I've ported many sets of car heads and I know its always best to do some research on the ports and what works and what doesn't work before reworking anything. What are some of the areas to focus in with 929 heads to make improvements? Are there any common porting mistakes on these heads?

Also, do the CBR1000 valves fit in the 929 heads? (after cutting the seat and blending the throat properly of course)

I would like to seal in a set of late model 1000rr titanium valves, springs, retainers, ect. into my heads.

Re: 30mm intake valve swap

From the specs I can see on line, they are both 4.5mm stem diameter. I just need to know if they are compatible length and if the keepers springs and retainers will work.
