Re: 900rr

Won't a 929 rim bolt right on? Just a 3 spoke is the difference besides being a 6", right? But as you said 900, a 190 will fit on a 5.5.

A 180 is plenty nough meat.
If you cant make that stick adjust tire pressure. Then adjust suspension.

Re: 900rr

Fitted an '08 on rear wheel to mine, straight in but cant remember which spacers I used. (Either the stock 900 or the '08's). I needed a three spoke wheel to match the wheel in the R1 front end I fitted. Handles fine, not really noticed any difference to be honest. (The R1 front end goes straight in too, same bearings, same stem size if anyone is interested).

Re: 900rr

You can fit a 200 on stock 5.5" rim..you have to watch for chain clearance..i dont know why you would though..totally hampers turn in and handling. If you wanting the looks of a wider rear a 190 fits no problem but you will sacrifice some handling. Its all in what your looking for!!?
