900 calipers on 929 rotors

So I'm doing a 929 front end swap and have everything except the calipers. I was wondering if it was possible to use the 900 calipers with 929 rotors and forks. I have the calipers sorta mounted but it almost appears that there's some minor interference. Has anybody run this set up no problem?

Re: 900 calipers on 929 rotors

I'm getting really good at answering my own questions on here lol. There is a minor interference between the front of the caliper and the mounting bracket for the front wheel fender. 5 seconds with an angle grinder and interference is gone. Hope this helps someone.

Re: 900 calipers on 929 rotors

As far as I can tell the calipers will work. I'm worried about heat soaking into the fender bracket and potentially breaking the fender but we'll cross that bridge when we get there. There appears to be no interference between the caliper and the rotor and it appears to be centered on the rotor as well so once I get pads and road test I'll post an update.
