Best Place to Relocate 954 Ignition?

I've got an '02 streetfightered 954 and recently got a new Moose Racing headlight that I really like, but the ignition interferes with the bulb housing so I'm going to cut it off of the upper triple and relocate it...somewhere. Does anyone have any experience doing this? Is there a common spot where people re-mount the ignition switch? Thanks.

I don't have 954 experience, but on my 93 900's I've moved it to a frame faring mount down on the left side of the frame. I could only use 1 bolt (not even the same size of the original, but most people didn't even know I had done it. It was pretty well out of view and worked perfectly. It was mounted pretty much from inside the frame, and stuck out just enough to see a little of the top if the key. Pretty much you can put it wherever you want. If the stock connector and wires don't reach to where you want it just solder some in and extend them. Sky's the limit really, but that's what I did because I had an Attack racing billet adjustable triple clamp. I have a naked 900 now that I'm going to do the same thing with just because.
