coolant leaking VERY WIERD 900rr

Ok so I put my 98 900rr up for the winter around October. I pulled it out once in November when the weather was ok and everything was fine on it. I even walked it out of the garage a couple weeks ago to test fire my pellet gun and no leaks. Ok now we have another beautiful day so I want to ride so I go to the garage and theres a puddle of lime green coolant on the ground that wasnt there before. Now it was only a small puddle of coolant even for a motorcycle but I dont want to mess anything up. The last time I rode it the temp didnt get past 125 when in the summer its up towards 180 so we didnt overheat. Now I have no clue where to start and this is very disappointing. Please comment with any help.

Re: coolant leaking VERY WIERD 900rr

water pump?
does the coolant on the floor have any oil in it?
there is a small pinhole underneath the water pump.
check to see if it is leaking. clean entire area.
check coolant level....run bike
see where leak is
Best

Yep!
Also you might want to change out your thermostat sounds like it is stuck open causing the bike to "overcool"

I would be tempted to ignore the situation until I had a real identifiable problem.
