Noobie help! Poor running after strip down.

Hello!

I have a 929 01 model blade and i've completed a threaded insert after the no. 3 plug went interstella.

I pulled it all apart and labelled EVERYTHING so i could get it back together ok, which i thought i had. I started it today and it runs very poorly and gives the fault code no. 2 ( faulty MAP sensor / vaccum).

The only thing I personally didn't remove is the tank so that wasn't labelled. I put it back but I've only connected the "main" hose with the bango nut and the the other rubber hose to the bell shaped regulator(?) at the left hand side of the fuel rail. I have left the other two connections under the tank off completely as i understood they were just a drain and a breather and i thought it wouldn't make a difference without a hose. Is this ok or did i cock up?

Secondly,i am left with a small diameter hose that goes into a T piece and i can't figure out where this goes.

Also between the two right most throttle bodies there is another small diameter hose which isn't connected to anything. It goes into a complicated system of hoses that attach to each throttle body. Is this right that it just vents into the atmosphere?

The symtoms i am getting is that it runs ok at about 3000 rpm but any lower and it feels as if one cylinder drops out now and then giving a nasty knock. Could this be from fuel starvation?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I am a bit lost. And my wife is going to stove my head in if i've spent the months house keeping on a bike that won't run!

I think I may have sussed it.

That little hose on the right hand side is meant to connect to the MAP sensor...it doesn't rigt now so I'm hoping that when I rig it up later that will sort my problems.

Are you guessing or do you have a manual?

Tbh I was guessing. I don't have a manual so it took a while to figure it out.

I'm elated to report that the bike now runs like a dream!

Still a few niggles to sort out like the fan doesn't seem to cut in even though the temp got up to 110 degrees c. And a rattle between 2 and 4 thousand rpm but otherwise she is fast and strong!
