Bent frame?

Hey guys, I just bought an '02 954rr last week. I've taken it apart and am going through the bike to make sure fixes were done properly by the previous owner. While installing frame sliders, I noticed the bike has a gap between the frame and the engine case on the right side where the frame sliders screw in. Is this normal?

Re: Bent frame?

Not sure but looks like a spot for a missing spacer. One of the 954 Gurus will know for sure. Are you sure the spacer did not fall when you were installing the new sliders. It happens.

Yeah Poison, right on. There is a spacer missing. And yes, most likely fell out when the stock bolt was removed.

Look around for that little bugger
