97 cbr900RR electrical issues

Hi guys
So i got stranded today because my bike died. Last season I was having the same issue so i bought a new battery and a new REGULATOR RECTIFIER I but the battery in last season and the regulator in this season. Bike will run until the battery is drained then it dies. my thought is its the regulator but i bout a new one off ebay. maybe the ebay one is bad?

Go though this procedure. Your stator and related connectors are
probably shot.

Re: 97 cbr900RR electrical issues

I also had Electrical problems with my RRT / 96 MODEL my regulator packed in and destroyed my battery , Voltage check confirmed the regulator was shot as it was showing about 40 volts . New one fitted with new battery and all is well, charging voltage is back about 14.5 volts at 2,500 R.P.M. The only problem i have is i had to disconnect one head lamp as if i run with both the engine starts to misfire .
