Starting new Bike with 0 KMs

Hi there guys just wondering I still haven't ridden my 954 I just started it today it has 0 kms on it and it;s making a ticking noise. is this normal?
My F4i once it had 5k on it started ticking too but that was the auto cam chain tensioner. Any advise would be great.

Re: Starting new Bike with 0 KMs

Glorious mechanical noises come with the territory, Bikerbabe, but of course you knew that.

A light ticking should not be any cause for alarm. You're probably just hearing the valve train
in operation. If the engine's cold, there are some ticking sounds, but once properly warmed up
your baby will sing a symphony of tasty tones.

I think you're good to go.

Congrats on the new bike. Please do post some pics.

Bikes and women - both have nice curves.

Re: Starting new Bike with 0 KMs

Isn't it a trill getting a brand new bike with no miles on it.
